This agreement governs participation in the MyHOAPortal affiliate program, operated by MyHOAPortal LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company.
§ 1What the program is.
You share a unique referral link. When a community you refer subscribes to MyHOAPortal through that link and completes payment, you earn a one-time bonus of $100 for that community. You do not need to be a subscriber to participate.
§ 2Eligibility, United States only.
You must be at least 18 years old and a United States resident, or a United States business entity, with a United States PayPal account that can receive Goods and Services payments. The program is offered only for communities located in the United States. If you serve on the board of a homeowners association, you must disclose to that association any compensation you may receive before referring it. You are responsible for any conflict-of-interest or disclosure obligations you owe to others.
§ 3Single level.
You earn only for communities that subscribe through your link. You are not paid for enrolling other affiliates, and there are no multi-level or downstream earnings of any kind.
§ 4Qualifying referral.
A referral qualifies when a new United States community subscribes through your link, completes its first payment, and remains active beyond any refund or chargeback period. Only one bonus is paid per community. Self referrals, referrals of communities you control, and signups obtained through fraud, spam, or misrepresentation do not qualify and will be reversed.
§ 5Payment.
Bonuses are paid in United States dollars through PayPal. You must provide a valid PayPal account that can receive the payment. Unclaimed payouts are returned to us after PayPal's claim window. Bonuses are paid after the qualification period and are subject to reversal if the underlying subscription is refunded or cancelled.
§ 6Taxes.
You are responsible for all taxes on amounts you earn. We do not collect or store your Social Security number or tax identification number. Depending on the amounts involved, your payments may be reported by PayPal. If the law requires us to collect tax information from you before paying, we will request it and may pause payment until you provide it.
§ 7Honest promotion.
Whenever you promote MyHOAPortal, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose that you earn a commission, consistent with FTC guidance. You may not make false or misleading claims about the product, its price, or its privacy practices. You may not spam, impersonate MyHOAPortal, or represent that you speak for us.
§ 8Termination.
We may suspend or end your participation at any time for violation of this agreement or suspected fraud. Bonuses tied to reversed or fraudulent referrals are forfeited.
§ 9Changes.
We may change the bonus amount or end the program at any time. Changes apply going forward and do not affect bonuses already earned and qualified.
§ 10Independent participant.
You participate as an independent party. This agreement does not create employment, agency, partnership, or a joint venture. You have no authority to act for, bind, or contract on behalf of MyHOAPortal.
§ 11Governing law.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
